Welcome to Storytelling
If you want to get people's attention, tell them a story. A well-told story will draw listeners to you, whether your purpose is to entertain, educate, inform, or sell a product/idea. The secret to telling a good story is learning some basics and practicing them. The plot is your story's driving force, so you must spend time on your plotting skills when you're writing an outline. You can create the most interesting character in the world. Still, without an equally interesting plot, the audience will not want to spend even 5 minutes with that person.
Welcome to the Storytelling Pipeline. By the end of this pipeline, we will have a formatted script, outline, and learn about animation in PowerPoint as it relates to the version of our story we started in weeks 1 and 2. In this assignment, we will get started by creating our story outline before we move on to learning how to write and format a script. At the same time we will be learning to use the technology needed to create our story, starting with MS Word.
It looks as if your writing skills have attracted the Flizims from region nine alien world. The Flizims manage the Mars Resort for Creatures (MRC). MRC is a place for creatures and aliens who want to escape the hustle and bustle of universal life and experience something different. MRC would like you to create a movie script that gives a historical view of the Flizims' rise to power in the universe and their business ventures.
