In the last assignment, we prepared our story outline in Word as preparation to translate that over to Excel. Why Excel? Because Excel makes our outline document functional for our team when breaking down our story into elements for production. That simply means that an Excel document makes it easier to break down the outline into components, which could be distributed to and tasked to various team members, contractors, or producers.

In this assignment, we will learn about Excel's user interface, formatting cells, and save your files within the Storytelling context.

Copy the text from the Movie Outline file in the resources area.

Paste to an Excel file

Paste the text in a Google Sheets or Excel file. Save your work.

Reformat the text

Reformat the text to look like the Formatted Version Example in the tutorial in the study area above."Excel: How to Format a Movie Outline"

After formatting your file, add your story outline to the Excel or Google sheets template after formatting.

Create a folder

Create a "week 3" folder on your Google drive project folder; 

Make the folder sharable with a link for all.
