Pathway 2

Your story is coming along, however, most professional work doesn't stem from ideas of your own making, but ideas of someone else's
making. In other words, creating a project in the working world requires one to have the ability to look at someone else's ideas and make them come to life.

The truth is, this is the case in almost every professionals life. The good news is that we have a plethora of original stories to choose from listed on our Discord server. In this assignment, you will search for a story listed on the P2P Discord channel(the-Beginning), for which you would like to make into a final product and write a small review of how they used the required story elements compared to how your story utilized them.

1. Select a story from the Discord channel / write a review

Pathway 1

While it may not be hailed as the pinnacle of app development, your progression towards brilliance has garnered the interest of the Flizims from the extraterrestrial region nine. These guardians of the Mars Resort for Creatures (MRC) have been captivated by the innovative features of your app. The MRC is envisioned as a retreat for diverse entities seeking an escape from the cosmic hustle and bustle, promising an extraordinary break from their daily existences.

Captivated by the potential of your app, the Flizims propose an enhancement: integrating a new feature that highlights the MRC. This addition should offer an in-depth overview of their offerings, encapsulating the essence of the resort as a sanctuary for spacefarers in search of peace and adventure.

Moreover, the Flizims are keen for you or your avatar to share the exhilarating journey undertaken to clear the resort's more daunting areas, capturing the necessary visuals for this update. This narrative will not only infuse your app with an element of excitement and valor but will also reassure prospective visitors about the MRC's commitment to safety and tranquility, a testament to your efforts in making the area secure.

This collaboration marks a chance to fuse creativity with cosmic diplomacy, broadening the scope of your app beyond terrestrial limits to encompass the vastness of space hospitality and adventure.

Coding in VB.NET :  WHY VB.NET

Visual Basic is a programming language developed by Microsoft, designed for creating web, mobile, and desktop applications. Originating from BASIC, Visual Basic facilitates the quick development of applications with graphical user interfaces (GUI) through its rapid application development (RAD) framework.

Why learn Visual Basic?
The language adheres to universal programming principles, making it versatile. It's particularly effective for crafting small, useful utility programs and enjoys robust support from Microsoft. Moreover, Visual Basic excels when used to enhance Excel and Word functionalities, demonstrating its power in application integration.

Visual Basic allows developers to assemble applications using its own set of pre-built components. This week, we're focusing on understanding conditional statements, a crucial aspect for guiding the behavior of your applications or games. Please engage with the provided reading materials and videos in the resources section and fulfill the subsequent tasks.
